Next up to receive some kindness this holiday season from Olivia’s Trust is Phoenix.
Olivia’s passion was helping others, especially those less fortunate. She helped many friends who had lost their homes for various reasons so we could think of no better way to honour her memory than to give to Phoenix.
Today Olivia’s Trust donated winter coats, hats, mitts, socks, toiletries and other goodies for 6 females and 6 males 🎁
If you or your family and friends are looking for a way to donate or give back you should consider Phoenix. Go to http://www.phoenixyouth.ca for their Wish List and ways to donate.

We will also be issuing money in the coming months to other organizations in our community that service animals and youth and those less fortunate which can benefit from Olivia’s generosity and kindness!
Courtnee Estabrooks, the talented creator at the heart of Courtnee’s Weighted Blankets in East Hants has created a beautiful, custom, double-sized, 20 lb. weighted blanket and matching pillows featuring Olivia’s Signature Tree.
This gorgeous Weighted Blanket, valued at $350.00, will be raffled off with all proceeds to be donated to Olivia’s Trust!
Tickets can be purchased by contacting Courtnee by email at email@example.com or through her Face Book page “Courtnee’s Weighted Blankets”.
Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
Draw date will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at our Annual Olivia Jollota Memorial Trust Bowling Tournament and Silent Auction 🎳
Weighted Blankets are used to help those who experience Anxiety, Stress, RLS and Insomnia. These blankets are also used by individuals who have Autism, PTSD, ADHD as well as other sensory disorders. Like a firm hug, the deep pressure acts to calm the person under it. (The added weight sends a message to the brain to release neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine to relax.)
Christmas is coming! Are you ready? Are you looking for a special gift for your loved one?
Well look no further!!! We have some wonderful Olivia’s Signature Tree hoodies, t-shirts, wine glasses, mugs and much more just waiting to find a new home.
Not only will you be giving a treasured gift but your thoughtfulness will help us give back. All proceeds from Olivia’s Signature Tree items go back to our community in the form of post-secondary scholarships and as donations to various organizations that help those that are most vulnerable like our youth, homeless animals and homeless people to name a few.

The Olivia Jollota Memorial Trust is so pleased to be able to donate 10 backpacks chock full of all the school supplies a high school student could possibly want for back-to-school!
This is our second year making a back-to-school donation for underprivileged kids. We know Olivia would be so pleased to see the impact her Trust is making in our community! Nicole and I had such a great time picking out the school supplies all the while thinking of the supplies Olivia would have wanted for back-to-school.
Without generous donations from our wonderful supporters and some fantastic fundraising events this type of giving back would not be possible. A special thanks to Staples and Giant Tiger for their great prices and sales which helped us donate so much than last year!
Each Roots backpack contains the following items:
Pencil Case with pens, pencils, erasers and a 16 GB Jump Drive
