Donation for Phoenix 2017

Next up to receive some kindness this holiday season from Olivia’s Trust is Phoenix.

Olivia’s passion was helping others, especially those less fortunate. She helped many friends who had lost their homes for various reasons so we could think of no better way to honour her memory than to give to Phoenix.

Today Olivia’s Trust donated winter coats, hats, mitts, socks, toiletries and other goodies for 6 females and 6 males 🎁

If you or your family and friends are looking for a way to donate or give back you should consider Phoenix. Go to http://www.phoenixyouth.ca for their Wish List and ways to donate.

5 Years

Five years ago today the world lost a little bit of light and wonder when Olivia died. All of those who love her are left missing a part of our hearts and for me, as her mom, a piece of my very soul.

There are no words that can even begin to to explain what her loss has meant to her friends and family. We miss her smile, her wicked sense of humour and her laugh. We miss her kindness, her compassion and her ability to make each and every person she ever encountered feel like they were special.

Her desire to help others was known by all her friends. Olivia I had a unique ability to look past the shell and see the hearts of others. The qualities this amazing young lady possessed were unequalled and made her one-of-a-kind.

Today, April 3rd, I must acknowledge her death but more importantly, I will acknowledge her life. Olivia lived her life to the fullest, with unbridled passion, intense devotion and unmatched love.

Over the years Olivia taught me many things. She taught me patience, she taught me tolerance, she taught me forgiveness and she taught me what true love feels like.

She was my most precious gift and I am grateful every day I was chosen to be her mom 💝
