The Olivia Jollota Memorial Trust was created to help people and make a difference – just like Olivia wanted to do with her life ♥ Join us on our mission!
We hope you are as excited as we are to announce the date for our annual fundraising event! Mark you calendars for Saturday, May 24, 2025 😃
Follow our Facebook page for the event details and how to participate. If you have participated in the past or want to come out for the first time, this is a fun-filled event that brings everyone together to do all the things Olivia loved most – bowling, shopping and socializing 💜
Space may be limited to bowl, but you can still participate in the silent auction, 50/50, sale of Olivia’s Signature Tree items and bake table. Cash or e-transfer only, so bring your wallet and your generous spirit!
Our first ever online fundraising auction is live! Let’s make this a success by sharing and bidding generously. The auction will run until Sunday, December 1 at 7 pm.
There are over 100 great items up for grabs. This is a fantastic way to kickstart your holiday shopping. If you are the successful bidder it’s a win-win, you get your item and we get to continue to help Olivia do “great things!” like our recent $1,000.00 donation to the Santa’s for Seniors program 🎄

Olivia’s Trust is going to host an online auction in November.

We are excited to host this new fundraising adventure and look forward to keeping everyone updated on start times and how to participate – so make sure to stay tuned 😊

The 2023 Bowling Tournament and Silent Auction Extravaganza was a huge success! Together with all our volunteers, bowlers and bidders we raised a whopping $6,504!
We have so many to thank for making this event possible. From the very generous donations of items for the silent auction to the bake table and of course the very popular booze board (congratulations to Lorraine for winning 😉). We could not be more grateful!
More than anything it was just wonderful to see longtime supporters and people newly introduced to Olivia’s Trust coming together to do all her favourite things – bowling, shopping and eating 🙂
This event is our largest fundraiser and it gives us the ability to continue on our mission of helping Olivia do “great things!”
Thank you to everyone who came out last night to volunteer, bowl and bid! Despite all the obstacles of Covid 19 restrictions we still raised $3,974.75! This money will be going back to our community as we make donations to organizations that support our youth, animals in need and those less fortunate.
There are so many we need to thank who come together to make this event a success. A special shout out to Nicole and Tom for their suggestions, time and continued support. Thanks to Steve, Courtnee, Jennifer and Jason for volunteering your time to help this event run so smoothly. Thank you Tom, Aly and Ragan for the bake table goodies. And thank you to Nicole and Courtnee for the plant table- it was an addition this year and a huge hit!
To all those who donated an item for the silent auction, we are so grateful for your generosity. This really is the key to making this event a major fundraiser and we could not do it without your support. We want to take the time to acknowledge all those who donated this year:

Stay tuned for an online auction we will be holding in late November for those who were unable to attend this event but still want to support Olivia’s Trust 😊 (details to follow)
Dust off your shoes and shine your balls folks! Time: 8 pm – close

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Olivia’s 25th birthday than bowling and raising money to help her continue to do “great things!” This is such a fun night for everyone from volunteers to participants while we bowl, bid, shop, laugh and eat our way to an amazing night. Remember to bring some cash for the 50/50, bake table, assorted raffles and of course Olivia’s Signature Tree items.
We will have 10 lanes initially so space is limited (more lanes will be available after 9 pm if you decide you want to bowl). If you want to reserve a lane, or donate a silent auction item please reach out to Dale on the Facebook page (an event will be created) or by email: dale@livstrust.com
Bring your wallets and generous spirit while we celebrate Olivia, enjoy the sport she loved and raise some money 💰. (Cash and e-transfer only)
The Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre Emergency Shelter opened its doors January 2021 as a 25 bed emergency shelter. Now with the addition of 15 new beds, they have become the largest emergency shelter in Halifax!
Through the power of social media we heard they were in need of several items to be able to handle the increased occupancy and of course we responded immediately! We have donated over $500 worth of much needed wish-list items and hope others in our amazing community can donate as well.
Below is a list of some needed items:
Spring/Summer clothes for all genders
Footwear for all genders
Backpacks
Socks/underwear
Juice boxes
Individual snack items
Coffee grounds/tea
Reusable cups
Plastic utensils
Toothpaste/razors/feminine products
We realize we are in difficult times (this is the second year we have not been able to hold our major fundraiser), but if you can, please consider helping those less fortunate – just like Olivia always did ♥️
